Paths of Gaeda
Paths of Gaeda is a sandbox-style campaign for the Pathfinder RPG. It takes place in the World of Gaeda – a world not entirely unlike our own.
The campaign begins within the confines of the Known World. This consists of the existing major cultures surrounding the Adastrican Ocean, their homelands, and their colonies.
The players will begin the campaign in the town of Adricsdorf, which is located on the Kohnnash River in the free state of Lyssandria. Lyssandria is located on the shores of Delos Bay in the Colonial Lands.

I love the podcast – can’t wait for episode 43.
Just wanted to say I love the game. It’s made my hour commute to and from work quite enjoyable. I’ve still 8 or so episodes to catch up to what’s uploaded and I’m sad to hear the rest aren’t in the queue yet but I totally understand why. Hope things settle down enough to put a few more up there. I thoroughly enjoy the world and the party interactions and I look forward to the return of Viktor and his enigmatic accent.
Please consider just posting them uneditted. This is one of the best tabletop podcasts I have found.
Hearnsward was improperly set. Fixed!
Out of curiosity – any reason why Hearnsward is set to GM only visibility on the Wiki?
Also – Victor is one of my favorites as well. I based him on Jean Reno in “The Professional” and “Ronin”.
Matt-
Yes, it is actually very time-consuming and tedious to edit the podcasts and upload them to the site. I usually have to do most of my cutting during the pre-game chatter, but there are sessions where everyone is tired and I find myself having to excise break periods, boring digressions, or just cut out bits of silence where the players are thinking. Converting the files to the proper bandwidth also requires lots of rendering time, and the uploads at Hal’s site are touch and go.
I love the fact that some people out there are enjoying them, and I wish I had the time to put the rest up, but for the moment I just can’t spare the work. :(
Hi “Wolf-Snap”, (I like it as a handle BTW)
Just as Woolen and ajhaag commented – I too have really enjoyed listening to your recordings and the campaign. I confess I am about to start up my own campaign, and fully intend to plagiarise extensively some of the scenes and plot devices you’ve used. My favourite NPC was definitely Viktor :-). I also confess that this is the first time I’ve actually made it here to Obsidan Portal and actually tried to read some of the game notes – I was initially excited to read that there were so many more sessions that the you done than the 29 on RPGMP3.com, but then devastated to read that you don’t currently plan to upload them… I had, naively assumed that it was probably a simple case of typing a few lines of description and then uploading – though from what you’ve said, it sounds like it may be a tad more complex…
To help you gauge just how many people are really out there listening to it – you could upload a short “session 30a” audio where you ask for people specifically for feedback to gauge just how many are out there, keen for you to continue. I’ve listened to quite a few of the podcasts on Hal’s site, and although Hall is probably the one DM who makes me laugh most, your campaign was the most inspirational and interesting one to listen to, and as such, if I see a “Pathfinder Session 30a” in my podcast feed, I am going to leap at downloading it!

Woolen-
I will admit that although I have recordings all the way up to session 62 I don’t have any immediate plans to release the rest. I’m sorry – there just wasn’t enough response to continue going through the rigmarole of editing and posting them, especially when I’m working on new books and projects which look to be much more exciting. (You can check out diredestiny.com for sporadic announcements)
We played the campaign up to session 62 and then put it on hiatus (You notice I still haven’t updated the last 5 sessions in the adventure log – I should probably do that! We’d like to return to the campaign at some point in the future, but at the moment I’ve a bit too snowed under with work to run it properly.
Thank you for reading/listening, however! I hope to get the last 5 adventure logs updated soon, so there will at least be some closure there!
Hey I`m a fan by way of your recordings over at rpgmp3, and I want to humbly inquire whether you had plans to release the remaining sessions in the campaign. If you don`t I fully understand, it`s doubtless an arduous process and you like anyone have a real life to contend with. The main reason I ask apart from my admiration and appreciation for your sessions is because there are session logs here that I have avoided reading for spoilery reasons, but would probably still enjoy reading so as pick out the high notes of how the campaign played out, also some finality would prevent me from checking back every week like a mournful hound dog.
Gratefully, woolen
Hi Rob and Chris,
My sincere thanks for sharing your recordings. I enjoy your respective GM’ing styles. Rob, you have fantastically rich NPC personalities, dialog, interactions and a varied and deep world. You also have a clever bag of tricks for players that miss gaming nights. Chris, I also liked the American Western flavor in your side adventure to the Keshwa Golden Tower, particularly during your setup. A shout out to the rest of the party (and Mira).
I understand totally that life is interfering with uploading the recordings. Good luck with Gen Con and DD 4. I’ll keep an eye out for when the new mp3s are posted. In the mean time, I’ll read Haggemoth.
Enjoy your summer!
Tony
Thanks for Listening Tony!

I very much want to get new episodes put up at RPGMP3, but I’m awfully busy right now trying to push Dire Destiny Book 4 to completion in time for Gen Con, plus my real job has gotten extremely hectic and stressful. Rest assured that we’re still recording, even if I am being terrible about updates, so eventually everything will get released.
Hi there,
Any chance you’ll post episodes after 29 to RPGMP3 or elsewhere? I’ve been following along with the campaign. I’m enjoying the recordings very much.
Thanks.
Tony
Hey hey all
HI! HI! See yah at game Monday.
What about the August/Sept gaming schedule?
August/Sept Game Schedule.
“Wolf-Snap”. From back in the mid-90’s. It was the end result of a very long and frustrating attempt to find an AOL handle that didn’t involve adding a bunch of numbers to the end of my name. In my mind at the time, it referred to the snapping jaws of a wolf.
So, I gotta ask… “Wolf Snap” or “Wolfs Nap”?
Rock on!
